One of the many coats I've inherited from my late grandmother, though they were all gifted to me in her lifetime. She was impossibly stylish, and all too happy to pass on anything she no longer wore to me.
This piece was likely intended as a suit jacket, but I wear it as a coat in the winter. It had a matching skirt, which I didn't take. Baba was baffled as to why I never took the skirts that went with the skirt suits. Mostly it was because they wouldn't fit over my ample hips, but with a piece like this I think it might appear too dated to wear the whole set.
Though the skirt in question didn't fit, either. It must be 50s or 60s - I wish I'd asked her.
