#7 - I love the rain. I love it.
I always loved rainy days best of all, growing up in desert-dry Calgary, but then found the adjustment to humidity a little difficult. My skin moist all the time, all my beloved wool clothing keeping in the wet cold. But I'm used to it now. And I still love overcast grey days and falling asleep to the sound of the driving rain. So clean. So pure.
#6 - Houseguests!
Three lusty cheers for all the houseguests and other visitors from the old Cowtown. Family and friends have been out to visit enough that I can't get too lonely in between. My two favourite co-workers, Jami and Andrew, will be here on the weekend for a semi-surprise visit. Fan-freakin-tastic.

Breaking sounds like a glacier
calving. Like ice sheets crashing
onto saves. A wave is water
oscillating between the moon’s pull
and the sea...
